Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. I absolutely LOVE Chickpea! ❤️ The food is always fresh, flavorful, and delicious, and you can truly taste the quality in every bite. The portions are great, the staff is friendly, and everything is made with so much care. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants on the east side. If you haven’t tried Chickpea yet, you’re seriously missing out! I highly recommend it—you won’t be disappointed! 😍👏

Extremely disappointing experience, and unfortunately I will not be returning. I specifically called my falafel bowl order in ahead of time because falafel has to be fried and takes several minutes to prepare. The entire point of ordering ahead was so I wouldn’t have to stand there waiting while it was being cooked. As soon as I walked in, I was told, “Sorry, I think we gave your falafel to somebody else.” What bothered me even more was that while she was telling me this, I could already see falafel cooking in the fryer. That made me seriously question the explanation I was being given. I was then left standing there waiting while approximately six other customers received their food and left before me—which was exactly what I tried to avoid by calling ahead. I had already repeated my order multiple times to the employee, yet I continued to be asked what I wanted again. What made the situation even more frustrating was the way the gentleman ringing up the orders handled it. Instead of simply apologizing for the mistake and acknowledging the inconvenience, his response felt defensive: “I know you’re upset…” followed by wanting to finalize my order. A simple, “I’m really sorry

Good, clean food. I'm plant based and I'm never disappointed. They also offer meat as well. Great food and great service. The only thing I don't care for is their garlic paste. It's too spicy for me.

You can't go wrong with chickpea! The food is fresh and the service is excellent. I highly recommend a chicken tahini bowl or wrap, what I call a "Mediterranean Greek Salad" or a chicken pita with ranch mixed with a little hot sauce. (Hot sauce has a decent kick, go lite if you are unsure. The flavor makes it worth it.) If you don't know where to start, ask for Nathan. He can walk you through the options or recommend one of my favorites .😊 -Just show him this, he knows my order- They also have a great selection of low calorie drinks in the cooler. A tip: the portions are huge. If you don't typically eat a large lunch, put sauces and pita chips on the side. Leftovers reheat well.

If you still haven’t tried this restaurant, I don’t know what you’re waiting for! It’s the only place truly worth your money. The food is absolutely delicious, with a great variety of proteins, veggies, and dressings. And you know what’s most amazing about this place? You can choose as many options as you want—with no limitations, which not many places allow. They keep adding delicious new options to their menu, giving customers an even wider variety to pick from. I crave their food all the time; every bite feels like heaven! Keep up the great work, Chickpea!!
